Confirmo alternative for stablecoin deposits on TON and Base
Stay with Confirmo for a hosted checkout, bitcoin, EUR settlement to your bank or bulk payouts. If customers top up in stablecoins on TON or Base, Unigox crypto processing is the Confirmo alternative.
When to stay with Confirmo
You want a ready checkout and coins beyond stablecoins
Confirmo gives you a hosted invoice page, payment and donation buttons, email invoices and a WooCommerce plugin, and buyers can pay in BTC, including over Lightning, ETH, SOL, LTC, POL or TRX. Unigox takes USDT and USDC only, on a payment page your developers build.
You want EUR in your bank or payouts to many recipients
Confirmo can convert each deposit to EUR or another fiat balance and settle it to your bank account on a schedule you set, with no processing fee on settlements. It also sends crypto payouts one by one or in bulk, from a CZK, EUR or USD balance or from a crypto balance.
You need an EU-authorised firm or serve the United States
Confirmo Limited is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland under MiCA. Unigox does not currently offer its services in the United States, and Confirmo runs a separate US company with its own terms.
Confirmo and Unigox for stablecoin top-ups and invoices
| Topic | Confirmo | Unigox |
|---|---|---|
| Coins and networks | USDT on Ethereum, Tron, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum One, Optimism, BNB Smart Chain and Plasma; USDC on the same list except Tron and Plasma. TON and Base are not on its list. | Crypto processing takes stablecoin payments on the major EVM networks (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Unichain and HyperEVM), Robinhood Chain, Tron, TON and Solana. Which stablecoins a business accepts on each network is agreed during setup. |
| Address for a returning customer | A deposit account per customer, with one permanent address on each blockchain and a webhook at every status change. Confirmo says never to share one account between customers. | A reusable address assigned to the customer, who pays from their own wallet or exchange and needs no Unigox account. New deposits carry that customer's reference. |
| An invoice paid short or over | Within the tolerance you set, a short or excess payment is marked paid. Outside it, an underpayment is not credited and the excess of an overpayment is held as an exception that you refund or credit. Exceptions still open 30 days after the invoice was created are kept in full as a fee. | Your system gets the amount that arrived under the invoice reference. Your own rules decide what happens to a shortfall or an excess, and any refund to the customer is yours to send. |
| What lands on your balance | The coin received, or a fiat or stablecoin balance it is converted to. Crypto settles to your wallet daily; if that fails by the next business day, Confirmo converts the crypto balance to fiat. | USDT stays USDT and USDC stays USDC. Keep it, send it to your wallet, or convert it and withdraw in an available local currency. |
| Pricing | Published: 0.8% on invoices, 0.5% plus the network fee on payouts and no processing fee on settlements. $100 plus network fees to recover a payment sent in the wrong coin or on the wrong network. | Set for your company on the setup call, before the first payment arrives. No public rate card. |
| Regulation | Confirmo Limited: a crypto-asset service provider authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland under MiCA, and a payment institution for e-money token transfers. Its UAE company has applied to VARA and is not yet authorised. | Unigox works through two companies: UNIGOX NETWORK CORP. in Canada handles the local-money side and is registered with FINTRAC as a money services business and with the Bank of Canada as a payment service provider; UNIGOX NETWORK CORP. in Panama handles the crypto side, including wallets and escrow. |
Move Confirmo API deposits to Unigox in three steps
Count your Confirmo deposit accounts
Count the Confirmo deposit accounts that receive USDT or USDC and note which customers ask to send from TON or Base. Bring that with your monthly volume; networks, integration access and pricing are agreed before the first payment.
Give each customer a Unigox address
Where your backend created a Confirmo deposit account, it now requests a Unigox address under the same customer ID. Show it with the network and stablecoin it takes.
Credit balances from notifications
On Confirmo you credit a customer once a deposit passes its compliance check and reaches done. With Unigox you check the signed notification, which carries your customer reference and the amount that arrived, then look up the transfer's status to confirm the amount before crediting.
Questions about Confirmo alternatives
How does the Confirmo API for deposits compare with Unigox?
Confirmo's API, called with a bearer API key, creates a deposit account per customer and posts a webhook at each status change, such as confirming, compliance check, done, returned or blocked. Confirmo tells you to credit your customer only at done. Unigox sends a signed notification with your reference and the amount received, and your backend looks up the transfer's status to confirm it before crediting.
What fees does Confirmo charge merchants?
Confirmo Limited's fee schedule lists 0.8% on invoices, 0.5% plus the network fee on payouts and no processing fee on settlements. An invoice exception still open 30 days after the invoice was created costs its whole amount, and recovering a payment sent in the wrong coin or on the wrong network costs $100 plus network fees. Unigox agrees its pricing with you before your first payment.
Can we keep Confirmo and add Unigox for TON and Base?
Yes, as two separate setups. Customers who pay in bitcoin or other coins keep their Confirmo addresses, and customers holding stablecoins on TON or Base get a Unigox address. Unigox does not currently offer its services in the United States, so customers there stay on Confirmo.
