If the matter remains unresolved after escalation, customers may contact the applicable provincial or territorial consumer protection authority in their jurisdiction.

4. REFUND POLICY

UNIGOX processes refund requests in accordance with the nature of the transaction and applicable regulations.

4.1 Crypto Transactions. Blockchain transactions are irreversible by their nature. Once a transaction has been confirmed on-chain, it cannot be reversed. UNIGOX is not liable for losses arising from user error, incorrect wallet addresses, or third-party failures after a transaction has been confirmed. Refunds for crypto transactions may be considered where a technical error on the UNIGOX platform caused the transaction to fail or to be processed incorrectly, or where a duplicate charge occurred due to a platform error.

4.2 Fiat Transactions. For fiat payment transactions processed through UNIGOX infrastructure, refunds may be issued where the payment was not delivered to the intended recipient due to a platform error, where the transaction was cancelled before processing was complete, or where a duplicate payment was made due to a system error.

4.3 How to Request a Refund. To request a refund, contact support@unigox.com or use the live chat at unigox.com within 30 days of the transaction date. Include your full name and account information, the transaction ID and date, the amount involved, and the reason for the request. Approved fiat refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days and returned to the original payment source where technically possible.

4.4 Non-Refundable Items. The following are not eligible for refunds: service fees for completed and successfully delivered transactions; exchange rate differences arising from market movement; and transactions involving accounts that have been suspended or terminated for policy violations.

5. FEE AND COMMISSION CHANGES

UNIGOX will provide at least 30 days' notice before any change to service fees or commissions takes effect. Notice will be given by email to the address on file, by in-product notification, and on the UNIGOX website. Changes may take effect immediately where required by law or regulation, or where necessary for security, fraud prevention, or compliance. Exchange rates are not subject to this notice requirement, as they reflect real-time market conditions and are displayed to customers before each transaction is confirmed.

This policy is consistent with the obligations of UNIGOX NETWORK CORP. as a FINTRAC-registered Money Services Business under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA), and as a Payment Service Provider registered with the Bank of Canada under the Retail Payment Activities Act (RPAA).
