For a CNY bank payment, provide the supplier’s business account in mainland China. Use the company name on the invoice and confirm the bank details directly with the supplier.
The form asks for the bank, account number, company name in Latin and Chinese characters, and a mainland phone number. It also asks what the payment covers and your relationship to the recipient.

01Are RMB and CNY the same currency?
Yes. Renminbi is the currency name, yuan is its unit and CNY is the currency code. Suppliers may use RMB or CNY on an invoice.
02Is this exchange rate fixed for my payment?
No. The displayed rate is a reference. Review the current amount, fees and any expiry shown on the payment screen before confirming.
03Why can the payment cost more than the converted amount?
Converting CNY to EUR at the reference rate estimates the invoice value. The payment total also depends on the provider’s exchange rate, fees and how you obtain the currency used to pay.
