Tazapay alternative for paying your app's users from USDT

Tazapay credits stablecoins to a Tazapay balance and pays from it. A Tazapay alternative pays your app's users local money order by order, from a USDT or USDC partner wallet. Stay for vendor payouts, card checkout and SWIFT.

When to stay with Tazapay

  • You pay vendors, staff and sellers abroad

Tazapay pays beneficiaries' bank accounts locally or by SWIFT, and stablecoin wallets. Unigox pays mainly your users' own bank or mobile money accounts after a Unigox identity check. Payments to suppliers and other third parties run only on supported routes confirmed before integration.

  • You also take cards and run checkout

Tazapay's gateway accepts cards and local payment methods at published rates, and gives you local account numbers to collect into. The Unigox Payments API collects only by bank transfer or mobile money, and settles in USDT or USDC.

  • You serve the US or want a counterparty regulated in Singapore

Tazapay holds a major payment institution licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, a Hong Kong money service operator licence and money transmitter licences in several US states. Unigox does not currently offer its services in the United States, so a US customer stays with Tazapay.

Who gets paidAny beneficiary you add: vendors, employees, freelancers, marketplace sellers and partners, and, for neobanks and fintech platforms, their own end users. Paid by local bank transfer, SWIFT, local networks such as PIX, or a stablecoin wallet, with a purpose code where the corridor needs one.Your app's own users, to their bank or mobile money account, and suppliers or other third parties on supported routes confirmed before integration. A payment business connected to Unigox or an individual P2P merchant pays them, and you can restrict a quote to payment businesses.
Where the stablecoins sitUSDC or USDT sent to your Tazapay collection wallet is credited to your Tazapay balance and converted to fiat when needed. A payout is debited from that balance, with automatic FX from your primary holding currency. In your partner wallet until an order is placed. Your server signs that order's amount into on-chain escrow, and a funded payout that does not complete is refunded to the same wallet.
Price of a payoutPublished: local payouts $2 to $5 each, SWIFT $5 to $35, with conversion from your balance when the payout currency differs. Volume discounts and custom FX on request. No single rate: the Unigox fee depends on the currency and payment method. Each order's quote shows the rate, that fee, the percentage you add for yourself, and the total. An order that does not complete is not charged.

RegulationStablecoin services come only from Tazapay Canada Corp., registered with FINTRAC as a money services business. Tazapay Pte. Ltd. holds a MAS major payment institution licence and does not provide digital payment token services. Circle's agreement to buy Tazapay awaits approvals, including from MAS.Unigox works through two companies: UNIGOX NETWORK CORP. in Canada handles the local-money side and is registered with FINTRAC as a money services business and with the Bank of Canada as a payment service provider; UNIGOX NETWORK CORP. in Panama handles the crypto side, including wallets and escrow.

Move user cash-outs from Tazapay to Unigox

  1. Pass KYB again with Unigox

Book a call to agree markets and setup, then pass KYB with company registration, ownership and source-of-funds documents. Approval by Tazapay does not transfer, and Unigox issues API credentials once your company is approved.

  2. Swap the Tazapay payout call for an order

Where you created a Tazapay quote and a payout funded from your balance, request a Unigox quote, create the order, then sign its stablecoin transfer on your server. Users you verified with Sumsub or Persona can reuse an eligible check.

  3. Top up the partner wallet, not a Tazapay wallet

Run the payout and refund flow in the sandbox, then swap in the production key and send USDT or USDC to your partner wallet rather than to a Tazapay collection wallet.

Questions about Tazapay competitors

Which Tazapay competitors pay a crypto app's users from USDT?

Tazapay itself does: platforms send USDC or USDT to their Tazapay balance and pay end users from it. Unigox does the same job a different way. Its Payments API pays your users local money to a bank or mobile money account from USDT or USDC that stays in your partner wallet until each order is signed into escrow, and turns their local deposits back into stablecoins. For paying vendors and suppliers abroad, compare Tazapay with Airwallex, Nium and WorldFirst.

How does the Tazapay API differ from the Unigox Payments API?

Tazapay uses HTTP Basic authentication with an API key and secret, pays from your Tazapay balance, and has a bank metadata call that lists each corridor's required fields. A quote can lock the rate first. Unigox uses an X-API-Key header, each quote lists the rate, the Unigox fee, your own fee and the total, and your server signs the stablecoin transfer into escrow.

Are Tazapay fees and pricing lower than Unigox for a payout?

Tazapay's published fees are a flat $2 to $5 per local payout and $5 to $35 per SWIFT payout, plus conversion when the payout currency differs from your balance, so the fixed part weighs more on small payouts. On Unigox the fee depends on the currency and payment method of each order and shows in the quote next to the rate before you create the order. Price one real payout on both.

Does Circle buying Tazapay change anything for its customers?

Tazapay says no: contracts, virtual accounts, payout routes and settlement continue as they are, with the same team and licences. Circle's purchase still needs approvals, including from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
