A Coinmotion alternative for selling your USDC from Solana or Base

Coinmotion receives USDC on Ethereum only and verifies customers through Finnish or Swedish online banking. Unigox is the Coinmotion alternative for selling USDC held on Solana or Base. For monthly saving in bitcoin, stay with Coinmotion.

When to stay with Coinmotion

  • You save a set amount every month

Coinmotion's savings plan buys crypto from 10 EUR a month on the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th or 28th. You pick one coin or a split across up to ten, bitcoin and ether among them. Unigox trades stablecoins only.

  • You file crypto taxes in Finland

Coinmotion exports every order, transfer and fee as one CSV report. Its partner Divly turns that file into a report built on Finnish tax rules for OmaVero, with 20% off for Coinmotion customers who pay by card.

  • You want a Finnish broker supervised under MiCA

Finland's FIN-FSA has authorised Coinmotion Oy for custody, crypto-for-euro exchange, order execution and transfers. It answers customers in Finnish and Swedish.

The Coinmotion alternatives FAQ

Can I send USDC on Solana or Base to Coinmotion?

No. Coinmotion's help centre lists Ethereum (ERC-20) as the only network on which it receives or sends USDC. USDC on Solana, Base or Arbitrum has to reach Ethereum first. On Unigox you pick Solana, Base or Arbitrum on the deposit screen and send the USDC as it is. The buyer then pays your bank account.

What are Coinmotion's fees for selling USDC?

Coinmotion's trading fee starts at 2% per order, charged in euros, and drops as your 90-day volume grows: 1.8% past 500 EUR, down to 0.8% past 1,000,000 EUR. USDC trades count toward the discount. Swedish customers who joined from 19 November 2025 pay a fixed 2.9%. Each euro withdrawal to your bank costs 0.90 EUR. Unigox shows no separate fee: it sits inside the rate you see before you accept.

Is Coinmotion regulated in the EU?

Yes. ESMA's interim MiCA register lists Coinmotion Oy as authorised by Finland's FIN-FSA for custody, exchange of crypto for funds, order execution and transfers, with services notified for Finland and Sweden. Coinmotion also holds a payment institution licence from the FIN-FSA.

Can I use Coinmotion without Finnish online banking?

Only if you have Swedish online banking. Coinmotion opens accounts to adults with Finnish or Swedish banking credentials and verifies identity through that bank login. Unigox verifies identity with an ID document and a selfie.

Compare a Unigox quote with Coinmotion's fee
