Bitvavo alternative for USDC on Solana, Base or Arbitrum

Bitvavo charges 0.10% or less to sell USDC, but takes it on Ethereum only. For USDC on Solana, Base or Arbitrum, Unigox is a Bitvavo alternative: a buyer pays your bank. For Ethereum USDC or other coins, stay with Bitvavo.

When to stay with Bitvavo

  • Your USDC is already on Ethereum

Bitvavo charges 0.10% to sell USDC for euros and sends the euros to your bank by SEPA at no fee. Lower rates need 100,000 EUR or more of 30-day volume in other crypto; stablecoin trades do not count toward it. For USDC on Ethereum in a wallet you own, that is a short, cheap route.

  • You buy and hold other coins

Bitvavo trades every coin it lists against the euro, some against USDC too. It pays rewards through staking and lending on eligible assets. Unigox trades stablecoins only.

  • You want an exchange supervised by the Dutch AFM

Bitvavo B.V. holds a MiCAR authorisation from the Dutch AFM for custody, running a trading platform and transferring crypto. That lets it serve customers across the EU under one supervisor.

Bitvavo's Ethereum-only USDC next to a Unigox sale

Bitvavo's 0.10% applies once your USDC is on Ethereum. If it sits on Solana or Base, add the cost and time of moving it there. Then set the euros you would get against the Unigox rate, which already holds its fee.

Move a Solana or Base USDC sale to Unigox

  1. Pass the identity check

Create a Unigox account and complete identity verification before the first trade. Your Bitvavo account stays open for Ethereum USDC.

  2. Deposit on the network you hold

On the deposit screen pick USDC and the network your coins are on, such as Solana or Base, then send them to the address shown. There is no move to Ethereum first.

  3. Sell to a buyer who pays your bank

Pick the currency and the bank account to be paid, weigh the rate against a Bitvavo sale after the move to Ethereum, and accept. Confirm when the money arrives.

Bitvavo and USDC: common questions

Which Bitvavo alternative takes USDC on Solana or Base?

Unigox takes USDC deposits on Solana, Base, Arbitrum and other networks, and a P2P merchant or a payment business buys it and pays your bank account. Bitvavo accepts USDC on Ethereum only, so selling there means getting the coins onto Ethereum first.

What are Bitvavo's fees for selling USDC?

Bitvavo's fee page lists USDC/EUR among its stablecoin pairs: 0.10% for maker and taker orders under 100,000 EUR of 30-day volume, 0.01% from 1,000,000 EUR and 0.00% for maker orders from 2,500,000 EUR. Stablecoin trades do not add to that volume, so selling only USDC keeps you at 0.10%. Withdrawing euros by SEPA costs nothing. Unigox shows no separate fee; it is inside the rate you see before you accept.

Can I send USDC to Bitvavo from Solana?

No. Bitvavo's asset list gives Ethereum as the only network for USDC, and its help centre warns that crypto sent on a network it does not support can be lost for good. On Unigox, Solana is one of the networks the deposit screen offers for USDC.

Why does Bitvavo want a deposit before you withdraw?

Bitvavo links a bank account through a euro deposit of at least 1 EUR from it and checks that the name matches yours. It pays withdrawals only to personal IBANs verified this way. On Unigox there is no test deposit: you add your bank account when you set up the sale, in the same name as your verified identity.
