A NOWPayments alternative for your stablecoin top-ups
NOWPayments takes a long list of coins. If you need only USDT or USDC, a NOWPayments alternative gives each customer or invoice an address carrying your reference. Stay for other coins, card deposits and crypto mass payouts.
When Unigox fits better than NOWPayments
Your company is in the EU, the UK or the UAE
NOWPayments' Terms of Service say its services are not rendered to residents or citizens of the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, the United Arab Emirates or Russia. Unigox works with companies from the EU, the UK and the UAE, as with companies elsewhere, apart from countries the Unigox Terms of Service exclude or that are under sanctions. Unigox does not currently offer its services in the United States, so a US company is served by neither.
Your users cash out to a bank or mobile money
NOWPayments pays out in crypto to wallet addresses, and its fiat withdrawals go to your own bank account. The Unigox Payments API pays each customer's own bank or mobile money account in local currency, funded from USDT or USDC in your partner wallet.
When to stay with NOWPayments
You accept more than stablecoins
NOWPayments takes 350+ coins and converts them automatically into the coin you choose. Unigox crypto processing takes stablecoins only, and credits USDT as USDT and USDC as USDC.
You pay many wallets or hold balances for users
NOWPayments sends mass payouts by API or CSV file with no service fee on payouts. Its customer accounts hold a balance for each user, with transfers between users and recurring charges from their balances. Unigox credits payments to your company's balance, and your platform keeps each customer's balance from the notifications.
You want a listed price and to test before KYB
NOWPayments lists its service fees (1% on single-currency payments, 1.5% with conversion, as low as 0.3% on custom offers), and its iGaming page says testing needs no company check. Unigox agrees networks, integration access and pricing with your company before the first payment.
Your customers pay by card
NOWPayments' on-ramp takes Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut Pay deposits and turns them into crypto in your account.
NOWPayments vs Unigox: API, fees and payouts
| Topic | NOWPayments | Unigox |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A crypto payment gateway with an API, invoices, plug-ins, custody, mass payouts and fiat on- and off-ramps. | Crypto processing: an address per invoice or customer, linked to your reference, for stablecoin payments credited to your Unigox balance. |
| Coins and networks | 350+ coins, 30+ of them stablecoins, with automatic conversion into the coin you choose. | Crypto processing takes stablecoin payments on the major EVM networks (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Unichain and HyperEVM), Robinhood Chain, Tron, TON and Solana. Which stablecoins a business accepts on each network is agreed during setup. |
| An address for each customer | Each player can get a permanent address in each cryptocurrency, and customer accounts hold a balance for each user. | An address stays assigned to the same customer for repeat payments. Each notification carries your customer reference, and your platform updates the balance. |
| Paying an invoice | An invoice link opens a payment page where the payer picks the coin; an API payment is in one coin on one network. Unpaid payments expire after 7 days, and later deposits trigger no callbacks. | Your checkout shows an address per invoice; one invoice can use addresses on several networks under one reference. Your system gets the amount received and applies your rules for partial payments or overpayments. |
| Payment notifications | IPN callbacks at each status change, signed with HMAC SHA-512 and your IPN secret key. | Each payment brings your system your reference and the amount that arrived. |
| Where the money lands | Your wallet or custody balance, in the coin you pick. Fiat withdrawals go to your own bank account: EUR by SEPA through partner Switchere, and wire payouts in USD, GBP, AUD and other currencies. | Your Unigox balance: USDT payments stay USDT, and USDC payments stay USDC. |
| Paying your users | Mass payouts in crypto to wallet addresses, by API or CSV file, with no service fee on payouts. | Through the Payments API, a separate product: local currency to the customer's own bank or mobile money account, funded in USDT or USDC from your partner wallet. |
| Getting started | Register with an email and a crypto wallet and generate an API key. Its iGaming page calls its KYB simplified and says testing needs none. | Book a call with the Unigox team. Unigox agrees networks, integration access and pricing with you, then you build the checkout and connect the notifications. |
| Pricing | Listed: 1% on single-currency payments, 1.5% on multi-currency or fixed-rate payments, as low as 0.3% on custom offers, with network fees on top. Fiat withdrawals 1.5% to 2.3%, by volume. | Not published: Unigox agrees pricing with your company before you start accepting payments. |
| Company location | Its Terms of Service exclude residents or citizens of the EU, the UK, the US, the UAE and Russia. | Any country except those the Unigox Terms of Service exclude or that are under sanctions. Unigox does not currently offer its services in the United States, which NOWPayments' Terms exclude too. |
| Regulation | FD Transfers LLC, a company registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, signs the Terms. Custody, mass payouts and fiat withdrawals run through third parties it engages. | Unigox works through two companies: UNIGOX NETWORK CORP. in Canada handles the local-money side and is registered with FINTRAC as a money services business and with the Bank of Canada as a payment service provider; UNIGOX NETWORK CORP. in Panama handles the crypto side, including wallets and escrow. |

Common questions about NOWPayments
What is a NOWPayments alternative for USDT and USDC payments?
Unigox crypto processing, if you take stablecoins only. Each invoice or customer gets an address linked to your reference. Payers send from their own wallet or exchange with no Unigox account. Unigox credits your balance and sends your system the reference and amount received. For other coins or crypto payouts to many wallets, NOWPayments covers more.
Compare crypto payment gatewaysWhat does the NOWPayments API cover?
The NOWPayments API creates an invoice link where the payer picks the coin, or a payment in one coin with its deposit address. It reports each status by an IPN callback signed with HMAC SHA-512, and also covers payouts, conversions and customer accounts. With Unigox your backend requests an address linked to your invoice or customer reference and receives the reference and the amount for each payment.
What are NOWPayments' fees?
NOWPayments' fee guide lists a 1% service fee on single-currency payments and 1.5% on multi-currency or fixed-rate payments, with blockchain network fees on top; payouts carry no service fee. Its fiat processing page lists a fiat withdrawal fee of 1.5% to 2.3%, depending on volume. Unigox agrees crypto processing pricing with your company before you start.
Is NOWPayments pricing the same for every business?
No. Fees start at 1% on single-currency payments and drop with discounts for payout activity and continuous use; custom offers go as low as 0.3%, and enterprise pricing is on request. Unigox crypto processing pricing is agreed per company, together with the networks and integration access, before the first payment.
Can I keep NOWPayments for other coins and move stablecoins to Unigox?
Yes. Crypto processing is its own integration: stablecoin invoices and top-ups go to Unigox, while NOWPayments keeps other coins, card deposits and mass payouts. We agree networks, integration access and pricing with your company first, and no balance or address moves between the two by itself.
Can my users withdraw to a bank account in local currency?
Yes, through the Unigox Payments API. Your server funds each payout in USDT or USDC from your partner wallet, and the customer receives local currency in their own bank or mobile money account. NOWPayments' fiat withdrawals pay out to the merchant's own bank account.
