Across bridge alternative for token buys in your wallet
An Across bridge alternative for wallet token buys on other networks: with the Unigox Trade API users sign one stablecoin transfer, and your calls buy the token on the destination network. Stay on Across for HyperCore and two-way swaps.
When to stay with Across
Your users move funds off HyperCore
Across routes reach Solana, TRON and HyperCore as well as the EVM chains. A user moves USDC or USDT off HyperCore by signing two messages instead of sending a transaction.
Users swap any token or pay into a reusable address
The Across Swap API takes any token in and any token out, in either direction. Across also opens deposit addresses that never expire: a user sends any amount within the route's limits, from a wallet or an exchange, and Across sweeps it to the recipient with no quote per transfer. The Trade API only buys.
You want API keys today and your own app fee
A form on the Across docs gives you a production API key and integrator ID; testnet calls need neither. You add your own app fee to each quote. With Unigox, Trade API terms and your revenue share are agreed before your team writes code.
Across Protocol embedded actions compared with the Trade API
Every row is one purchase: the user holds a stablecoin on one network, and your app's contract calls buy a token on a second network.
| Topic | Across | Unigox |
|---|---|---|
| How the buy runs | Your backend sends the quote request with an actions list and sets Across's MulticallHandler contract as the recipient. A relayer fills on the destination chain from its own capital, and the handler then runs your actions there. | Your backend asks Unigox for a quote with your calls and the receiver. Unigox delivers the stablecoin on the destination network and executes the purchase there. |
| What the user signs | An approval transaction when the allowance is short, then the swap transaction from the user's wallet. Across's one-signature gasless flow does not carry embedded actions. | One stablecoin transfer, after your app shows the quoted price. |
| How the price is set | The fee is the gap between what the user deposits and what arrives: an LP fee that rises with pool use on each route, plus a relayer fee for destination gas, locked capital and risk. Across asks you to fetch fees for every quote. | Commercial terms are agreed with you before you start, with no published price list. Each quote states the delivered amount, the destination gas charge and a deadline. |
| If the buy does not complete | A deposit no relayer fills before its fill deadline is refunded after the next settlement bundle, which Across says can take several hours. It goes to the refund address on the origin chain unless you choose the destination. | Refunded in stablecoin to the receiver on the destination network. Only gas used by a failed execution there comes off, and never more than the quoted gas charge. |
| Your revenue | An optional app fee you set on each request as a share of the amount, charged in the output token and paid to your address on the destination chain. | A share of trading revenue, agreed with Unigox along with integration access. |
| Networks and direction | EVM chains plus Solana, TRON and HyperCore; any token to any token, both ways. | Buys only. Unigox confirms each asset and network pair with you during integration. |
| Access | A form on the docs site issues the API key and integrator ID that production calls need. Testnet calls work without them. | A request from the Trade API page. Unigox reviews your assets and networks, then runs the first purchase with your team. |
Move Across action buys to the Trade API
List what your users buy
From the Trade API page, send the tokens and networks your users buy through Across embedded actions today. Unigox confirms each pair and agrees your revenue share while your Across integration keeps running.
Carry your actions over as calls
Rebuild the token-buy actions from your Across actions list as contract calls in your Trade API quote request, next to the receiver. Unigox checks them with your developers on the first purchase. Your app shows the delivered amount, gas charge and deadline before the user signs the stablecoin transfer.
Rewrite the refund messages
Across returns an unfilled deposit hours later, on the origin chain unless you set otherwise. Trade API refunds land with the receiver on the destination network, so update the status screen and support replies that tell users where to look.
Questions about an Across bridge alternative
What can a wallet use instead of Across for token buys?
For purchases, the Unigox Trade API: your users pay with a stablecoin they already hold, Unigox delivers it on the destination network and your calls buy the token there. For bridging, swaps back to a stablecoin, deposit addresses and withdrawals from HyperCore, Across does more.
See the Trade APIHow does Across Protocol charge for a transfer?
Across publishes no fixed price list. The user receives the deposit minus an LP fee that depends on how much of the route's pool is in use and a relayer fee for gas, capital and risk, and your app fee comes on top. A Trade API quote shows the delivered amount, the destination gas charge and a deadline before the user signs.
When does an Across bridge refund arrive, and where?
Across refunds a deposit no relayer filled once its fill deadline passes and the next settlement bundle runs. Its FAQ puts this at about 135 minutes after the deposit with a 90-minute deadline, but Across recommends a 6-hour deadline and warns that refunds can take several hours. By default the refund goes to the depositor on the origin chain. A failed Trade API purchase is refunded in stablecoin to the receiver on the destination network.
Can I keep Across deposit addresses and add the Trade API?
Yes. Persistent deposit addresses, bridging, any-token swaps and the HyperCore routes can stay on Across while your token purchases move to Trade API quotes. Each integration has its own keys, status checks and refund rules, so your app tracks them separately.
Move your users' token buys to the Trade API
Start with the Across action buys your users make most often. Unigox confirms those token and network pairs and runs the first purchase with your developers.
