0x API alternative for buys on another network

The Unigox Trade API is a 0x API alternative for wallets whose users pay a stablecoin for a token on another network: one quote, one signed transfer, and Unigox runs the buy. Stay with 0x for two-way and same-chain swaps.

When to stay with the 0x API

  • Users swap any token, both ways, from Solana or Tron too

The 0x Cross-Chain API takes any supported token as the sell side and treats each chain as origin and destination, across EVM chains, Solana and Tron. A Trade API purchase is paid in a stablecoin and only buys.

  • Most of your volume is same-chain or gasless

The 0x Swap API runs on EVM chains and Solana, and the Gasless API pays gas up front and takes the cost out of the token being traded. The Trade API only covers buys that land on another network.

  • You want a live key before talking to anyone

A 0x Dashboard account needs a name, email and password, and the first app you create gets a live key for several 0x products. On the Trade API you ask for access first, and Unigox reviews the tokens and networks you plan to list.

The 0x Cross-Chain API and the Trade API on one buy

Each row follows one purchase: your wallet's user pays USDC on one network for a token on another.

Who carries the funds across0x asks several bridges and liquidity sources for routes and returns them ready to sign. The chosen bridge picks up the order and delivers on the destination chain, in seconds or minutes.Unigox takes the stablecoin to the destination network and makes the purchase there for your user.
Integration work per buyFetch quotes, set a token allowance on EVM chains when the quote flags one, have the user sign the origin transaction, then poll the status check with the quote ID until the bridge fills. One quote request from your backend, a stablecoin transfer the user signs, and a result to read: the token or a refund.
If the bridge leg failsRecovery follows the bridge: some refund on the origin chain, others get a destination retry from 0x. The refund comes in the bridge step's token, which can differ from what the user sold. A failed recovery means a support ticket.Stablecoin back at the receiver's address on the destination network. Only gas spent by a failed execution there comes off, capped by the gas charge in the quote.
Fees on the purchaseOn the Standard plan, a 0.15% 0x fee on cross-chain transactions, taken from the sell amount. Some bridges add a native-coin messaging fee on top; bridge spreads sit inside the quoted buy amount. Before signing, the user sees the delivered amount, the network execution fee and the deadline in one quote.

What can be bought, and whereAny token not blocked for compliance, routed between EVM chains, Solana and Tron, and into HyperCore as a destination only.Purchases of assets such as tokenised stocks and meme coins, on networks that support the stablecoin used; Unigox confirms each asset and network pair with you.

Move 0x cross-chain buys to the Trade API

  1. Send the pairs your users buy

Request access on the Trade API page with the tokens and destination networks your users reach through the 0x Cross-Chain API today. Your 0x key keeps serving same-chain swaps while Unigox reviews the pairs and agrees terms.

  2. Retire the route, allowance and polling code for buys

For stablecoin buys on another network, replace route choice, the allowance step and status polling with one Unigox quote. Show the delivered amount, network fee and deadline, then ask for the signature.

  3. Explain one refund case, not one per bridge

Show the token received, or the stablecoin refund and the network it reached. A refund lands on the destination network, so make that clear to the user. Your screens no longer have to say which bridge token came back on which chain.

Questions about a 0x API alternative

Which swap API can replace the 0x API for buying tokens on another network?

For a wallet whose users pay a stablecoin for a token on a different network, the Unigox Trade API: your backend asks for a quote, the user signs the transfer, and Unigox makes the purchase. For same-chain swaps, gasless trades and selling any token, the 0x Swap and Gasless APIs cover more.

What happens when a 0x cross-chain swap fails on the bridge?

It depends on the bridge. Some refund automatically on the origin chain, others get a destination retry submitted by 0x, and the refund token is the one the bridge carried, such as WETH after the user sold ETH. If recovery itself fails, you take the case to 0x support. A failed Trade API buy is refunded in stablecoin on the destination network.

Is the Trade API a DEX aggregator API like 0x?

No. 0x queries bridges and liquidity sources and hands your app routes to sign and track. The Trade API takes one stablecoin transfer and Unigox carries out the purchase on the destination network, so it fits buys, not general token routing.

What does 0x charge on a cross-chain swap?

On the Standard plan, 0x takes 0.15% of each cross-chain transaction from the sell amount, charged on-chain to your users. Some bridges add a native-coin messaging fee on top, and any fee you set as integrator comes out of the same sell amount. Custom plans are agreed with 0x for higher volume.
