This search collects at least three unrelated people. Someone trying to install or open the app in India. An Indian living in China who needs a wallet for ordinary daily life. And an importer whose supplier said just send it to my Alipay. Only the third has a payment problem Unigox can do anything about, and the way we do something about it is by not using Alipay at all.

  • Alipay payout not offered
  • No availability claim made
  • Mainland company account only

Nothing to install. One account to pay.

The destination is your supplier's company account at a mainland Chinese bank. You fund it from a USDT or USDC balance, and they receive yuan without ever learning how it was funded.

The short answer

Can Unigox pay a Chinese supplier through Alipay from India?

USDT / USDCBANK CNY

No, and not for any Indian reason. The corridor does carry Alipay and WeChat Pay rails, but they are consumer wallet rails and they are gated twice. They resolve from the sender's verified identity — a completed fourteen-field remitter profile showing Chinese nationality, with residence outside China — and they pay a personal wallet for one of two declared purposes: a transfer to yourself, or support for a family member. A company invoice is neither, and a company cannot receive on them at all. For a supplier payment the answer would be the same if you were sitting in Frankfurt.

Whether the app itself is available to you in India is decided by Alipay, by the app stores and by Indian policy. We do not control it, cannot influence it, have no way to work around it, and will not characterise its current status here, because that status has changed before and we would be guessing.

Open payment flow

Three searches, three honest answers

  1. Step 01

Trying to install or open it

Availability, verification and which features work are Alipay's decisions and India's, not ours. We have no visibility into your case and no lever to pull, and a page that pretended otherwise would just be selling you hope.

  2. Step 02

    An Indian living in China

Your path runs through Alipay's own process and a mainland bank, not through us. Our wallet rails would refuse you twice over anyway: they gate on Chinese nationality, and they refuse a payout whose sender country is China.

  3. Step 03

    Paying a supplier

This one we can help with, by pointing you at a different destination. A company invoice is settled into a company bank account, which is a route that exists today and does not need a wallet at either end.

From recipient details to a tracked CNY payment

  1. 01

    Add the recipient

Choose the supported China destination and enter the recipient details exactly as provided.

  2. 02

    Enter the CNY invoice

Add the amount, purpose, relationship and optional invoice reference before pricing.

  3. 03

    Choose how to fund

Select USDT or USDC from your native Unigox Wallet.

  4. 04

    Review and follow the payment

Confirm the exact source and destination amounts, then follow the status from the same flow.

01

The workaround market is the genuinely dangerous part of this search

Sitting right next to the ordinary questions here are the ones that end badly. An installer package pulled from a file-sharing site and put on the phone you bank with is the riskiest thing anybody in this cluster is contemplating, and the risk has nothing to do with China — it is that you have granted an unverified build whatever the phone will give it. An agent who tops up a wallet for you means your money has gone to a stranger's account with no invoice attached. A service offering to get you past identity verification is offering to misrepresent who you are, using your details.

Unigox provides none of that, works with nobody who does, and will not describe how it is done. If a supplier or an intermediary is walking you toward one of those, the interesting question is no longer about Alipay. It is why the payment cannot survive an ordinary bank transfer to the company that issued the invoice.

02

If you are Indian and already living in China

This is a real and separate reader, and the honest answer is that we are not your tool. Setting up a mainland wallet is a process run by Alipay and a Chinese bank, with their own identity, residency and phone-number requirements, and the only reliable source for what they currently need is them.

It is worth knowing why we cannot even be a fallback. The wallet rails here are gated on the sender's verified identity in two directions at once: they need a completed remitter profile showing Chinese nationality and residence outside China, and the scheme refuses a wallet payout whose sender country is China. Somebody Indian, in China, fails both tests, and it is decided server-side from verified identity rather than chosen in a form. Better to read that in a paragraph than discover it at the end of a signup.

03

The route that is actually open when there is an invoice

There is exactly one destination this corridor will pay from India, and it is not a wallet of any kind: your supplier's business bank account at a mainland Chinese bank, reached over CNAPS. You fund it from USDT or USDC held in your Unigox Wallet, because the collection side of this journey is a single fixed currency in the backend and it is not the rupee — so the rupee does its work one step earlier: it buys that balance on Unigox, at a price you see before you buy. What arrives at the other end is an ordinary yuan credit.

You will need four things from them: the registered company name in Latin letters and in Chinese characters, the business account number as their statement prints it, the receiving bank and a mainland mobile number. An individual's account is refused server-side, so a sales contact offering to receive on the company's behalf is a dead end here rather than a judgement call. Payments are declared as goods or services, amounts have been quoting from roughly 55 CNY to about 65,000 CNY from live liquidity, and the business payout mode is new enough that a first payment deserves to be a small one.

If the supplier says Alipay only, ask for the company account — that is what a company invoice is normally settled against, and their accountant will want it there anyway. If they genuinely cannot produce one, you have learned something about who you are dealing with, and it is worth more than the discount.

04

One line about your own obligations

Whatever route you use, what an Indian payer owes their bank in explanation and records does not change, and we have not verified what that is. Ask your bank and your own adviser. If a method appeals mainly because it looks like it goes around something, ask them before rather than after — that is the whole of our advice on the subject, and we are not going to improvise the rest.

Built for the way India pays China

Two things shape this flow: China is a major sourcing corridor for India, and the invoice at the end of it is written in yuan and paid into a mainland company account.

A high-volume trade corridorChina is among the largest sources of imports for India, which makes paying a Chinese supplier an ordinary business cost rather than an edge case.
Funding that matches real balancesThe same invoice is funded from USDT or USDC already held in a Unigox Wallet.

Alipay questions from India, answered plainly

01Can I use Alipay in India?

That is between you, Alipay and whatever applies in India, and it is not something we control or can work around. We will not publish a status for it either: it has changed before, and a wrong answer here would be worse than no answer. Even where an app installs, which features work varies by identity, product and transaction type.

02Is there an APK I can install to get around availability?

Do not. An installer from outside an official store, on the phone you bank with, is the biggest risk in this entire search set, and we will not help you find one. Nor do we work with agents who offer to top up wallets or get past identity checks on your behalf.

03What is Alipay India Private Limited?

A separate corporate entity question with no connection to Unigox. We have no relationship with it, no visibility into it and nothing useful to tell you about it. If a charge or a company record has brought you here, the company itself and your bank are the only ones who can answer.

04What about Alipay+?

It is a merchant acceptance product — about shops and apps accepting wallets — rather than a way for you to send a supplier payment out of India. If a merchant has told you to use it, the details are theirs to explain, not ours.

05My supplier insists on Alipay. What do I do?

Ask for the company's bank account. Do not route the payment through an unrelated personal wallet or an agent to force it through: you would be paying someone who did not invoice you, and this route would refuse it in any case.

06Does WeChat Pay change any of this?

Same gate, different rail. They are modelled and operated separately, and one can be unavailable while the other keeps working, but neither pays a company and neither is open to a payer who is not a verified Chinese national resident outside China.

Stop solving Alipay. Start solving the invoice.

Open the payment flow, add the recipient and compare INR, USDT, USDC before funding.
